WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Brooklyn man accused of forcing vehicles off the road and driving at dangerous speeds in erratic driving complaint

Roderick H. Reid, 23, of Brooklyn, NY, was arrested following a traffic complaint on Route 20A in the Town of Warsaw on March 1, 2021.

The Wyoming County 9-1-1 Center received the report of a vehicle driving erratically on Route 20A at Smallwood Road. The vehicle was reportedly passing in no passing zones, forcing vehicles out of their lane, and driving at dangerously high speeds.

Deputies intercepted the vehicle at Route 20A at State Route 238 where a traffic stop was conducted. The driver, Roderick H. Reid, was found to have a suspended driver’s license. Reid’s vehicle was subsequently towed from the scene, and Reid was taken to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

Reid is charged with reckless driving, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, and driver’s view obstructed. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Warsaw Court on March 29, 2021.

Two male subjects were arrested following the investigation into multiple larcenies which had been occurring at the Wal-Mart store on Route 19 in the Town of Warsaw.

The two male larceny suspects were located at 75 North Main Street, outside an apartment, in the Village of Warsaw on March 1, 2021.

Robi L. Terziani, 26, of Warsaw, was found to be in possession of some of the stolen items, and was arrested for the larcenies. Brandon E. Matteson, 26, of Warsaw, who was pictured in security photographs with Terziani at the time of the larcenies, was also interviewed at 75 North Main Street. Matteson was found to have an active warrant of arrest for a violation of probation out of the Town of Middlebury Court. Matteson was arrested on the warrant. Terziani and Matteson were then transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

Terziani was issued an appearance ticket for petit larceny, and was banned from all Wal-Mart stores and property. He is scheduled to answer the charge in the Town of Warsaw Court on March 29, 2021. Terziani was released from custody following processing.

Matteson was arraigned virtually in front of Judge Mohun of Wyoming County Court, and was held without bail awaiting a further court appearance in the Town of Middlebury Court on March 8, 2021. Matteson was then turned over to officers at the Wyoming County Jail.
