Label $hopper in the BJ’s Plaza on Lewiston road opened about three weeks ago, and today they held their official ribbon cutting ceremony with the help of the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce.
The store offers designer brands at low prices.
Label $hopper, a New York based retail clothing store, buys overstock items from department stores that didn’t sell from the previous season. Label $hopper then offers the name brand clothing for the whole family at low prices. The store offers Misses, Juniors, Plus, Men’s, and Kids size clothing.
Brian Greer, who is from Batavia and the Store Manager at the BJs Plaza location, says it feels great to have the store open and it will help a lot of people out.
“It brought back a job to me after Covid,” says Greer.
The store is located in the former Sears location at the BJs Plaza on Lewiston road. Greer says business has been steady for the last three weeks and a lot of customers from Warsaw have been visiting the Label $hopper in Batavia after the Warsaw store closed about four years ago.
“It brings back a sense of community and offers the quality that everybody looks for with the price that everyone can afford.”
