Louis M. Coleman, 48, of Bethany, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 63 in the Town of Covington on March 7, 2021.
Coleman was the driver of a vehicle stopped for erratic operation, and Cwas found to be operating with a non-driver identification card with a total of 7 suspensions/revocations dating back to 2001.
A bag of over 2 ounces of marijuana was in plain view on the passenger floor, and a subsequent vehicle search led to the seizure of a vial containing over a gram of cocaine.
Coleman, a three time convicted felon, one of which was a violent felony, was taken from the scene to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for processing.
Coleman is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 5th, a class D felony, criminal possession of marijuana 4th, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, unlicensed operation, and following too closely.
Coleman was arraigned virtually in front of the Warsaw Town Court, and was held without bail in the Wyoming County Jail following arraignment. Coleman is scheduled to appear in Wyoming County Court on March 19, 2021.
Three Chautauqua County residents were arrested in the Town of Sheldon following a traffic stop on March 6th.
A vehicle was stopped on Route 20A in the Town of Sheldon after it was observed by deputies traveling 83mph in a marked 55mph zone.
The driver of the vehicle, Hunter J. Evans, 20, of Stockton, NY, was found to be operating without a license and his driving privilege was suspended in NYS 3 times. Evans is charged with speeding, unlicensed operation, and aggravated unlicensed operation in the 3rd degree.
Two of the vehicle’s occupants were also arrested for misdemeanor drug possession.
Arianna L. Wright, 18, of Stockton, NY, was found to allegedly be in possession of concentrated marijuana wax and is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree.
Eboni M. Brooks, 24, of Dunkirk, was found to allegedly be in possession of numerous hypodermic instruments and a package containing heroin. Brooks is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree along with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.
All three were released on appearance tickets as none of the charges were qualifying offenses for bail. They are all scheduled to return to the Town of Sheldon Court on March 15, 2021.
On March 1, 2021 at approximately 4:33a.m., a Deputy from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Warsaw for a violation of the NYS vehicle and traffic law.
Further investigation revealed that the operator, Jathiyah Valentine, 37, of NY, NY,was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. She was found to have 17 active suspensions on 17 dates.
Valentine is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 1st degree, improper plates and unregistered motor vehicle.
Valentine was issued an appearance ticket and released on her own recognizance.
On March 7, 2021 at approximately 12:06a.m., a Deputy from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Perry for a violation of the NYS vehicle and traffic law.
Further investigation revealed that the operator, Jay Dove, 35, of Buffalo, was operating the vehicle with a suspended license.
Dove was found to have 20 active suspensions on 10 dates.
He is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 1st degree and speeding in a zone. Dove was issued an appearance ticket and released on his own recognizance.
Jorge Andelo, 32, of Houston, TX, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Perry on March 6, 2021.
Andelo was the driver of a 2005 Honda Accord with Texas plates. He was stopped for driving into the oncoming lane multiple times.
Andelo was found to have no driver’s license in any state, and was found to have an active suspension in the State of New York.
Andelo was arrested, and his vehicle was towed from the scene.
He is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree, unlicensed operator, failure to keep right, and operating a motor vehicle while using a portable electronic device.
Andelo was issued an appearance ticket and scheduled to appear in the Town of Perry Court on March 31, 2021 to answer the charges.
Anthony U. Reyes, 18, of Westchester, PA, was arrested following a traffic stop on Toolhouse Road on Route 20A in the Town of Warsaw on March 6, 2021.
Wyoming County Deputies conducted a traffic stop with a 2010 Volkswagen with Pennsylvania plates for a stop lamp equipment infraction.
The driver of the vehicle was found to be driving with a suspended Pennsylvania driver’s license.
Further investigation found the registered owner, Anthony U. Reyes, who was in the rear seat, to allegedly be in possession of concentrated cannabis.
Reyes was also in the vehicle with a 15 year old male.
The driver, Victor A. Garcia, 19, of Pennsylvania, was issued traffic citations for unlicensed operator and inadequate stop lamps.
Reyes was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
Reyes was processed at the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office and released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to answer his charges in the Town of Warsaw Court on March 29, 2021.
Deputies responded to the area of State Route 78 and State Route 19, in the Town of Gainesville, for the report of a car versus deer motor vehicle accident on March 2, 2021.
While investigating the accident, Jeffrey A. Kimmel, 54, of Castile, was identified as the driver of the vehicle and a DMV data check showed Kimmel’s license was suspended for failure to answer a summons in the Village of Warsaw.
Following the roadside investigation, Kimmel was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree and released on an appearance ticket.
Kimmel is scheduled to appear in the Town of Gainesville Court at a later date.
Andrew Z. Perdock, 34, of Warsaw, was arrested following a larceny complaint at Wal-Mart on State Route 19 in the Town of Warsaw on March 3, 2021.
Asset Protection had apprehended Perdock after he was observed stealing merchandise from the store by concealing the property on his person. Perdock is known by store security as he was previously arrested at the same store for petit larceny. Due to those previous arrests, Perdock has been banned from all Wal-Mart properties.
Perdock was turned over to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where he was charged with burglary 3rd degree, a class D felony and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. The burglary charge stems from Perdock entering the building unlawfully with intentions to commit a crime.
Perdock was transported to the Town of Warsaw Court where he was arraigned on the two charges. Perdock was released on his own recognizance.
