On March 27, 2021, SP Machias Troopers arrested Peter L. Jackson, 55, of Batavia, NY, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol.
During a traffic stop on State Route 16 in the town of Yorkshire, Troopers determined Jackson had been operating a motor vehicle while in an impaired condition. He failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. Jackson was then arrested and transported to SP Machias, where a chemical breath test revealed him to have a 0.05% BAC.
Jackson was released with appearance tickets for Yorkshire Town Court, where he is due to appear in April.
