GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Pavilion man charged after allegedly threatening a person

Daniel W. Knauss Jr., 51, of West Park St., Pavilion, is charged with menacing 3rd, after allegedly chasing another person around a yard while making verbal threats, causing the person to fear physical injury. The incident occurred in the Town of Pavilion on March 25, 2021 at 7:10p.m.

Knauss Jr. turned himself in at the Genesee County Jail on pending criminal charges. He was processed and released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Pavilion Court on April 6, 2021 at 3:00p.m.

Ian R. Standinger, 24, of Brookview Rd., Rochester, is charged with false personation and speeding in a zone, 76/30mph, after a traffic stop on Ford road in Elba on March 30, 2021 at 3:57p.m.

During a roadside interview, Standinger allegedly identified himself with a false name. He was also charged with unregistered motorcycle, uninspected motorcycle and operating without insurance.

Standinger will appear in Elba Town Court on April 21, 2021 at 5:00p.m.
