GENESEE COUNTY/Indictments

A Genesee County Grand Jury has indicted Eric J. Reyes Jr., accusing him of the crime of criminal possession of stolen property 3rd degree, a class D felony, after he knowingly possessed stolen property on September 28, 2020 in the Town of LeRoy with intent to benefit himself, with the value of the property exceeding $3,000.

In Count two, Reyes Jr. is further accused of the crime of aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree as a misdemeanor, after operating a 2020 Dodge on Interstate 90 while he knew or had reason to know that his license or his privilege to operate a motor vehicle in NYS was suspended, on September 28, 2020 in the Town of LeRoy.

Rachelle N. Laney has been indicted and is accused of the crime of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, a class B felony, after Laney knowingly and unlawfully possessed a narcotic drug, Fentanyl, with intent to sell it on September 10, 2020 in the Town of LeRoy.

In Count two, Laney is accused of the crime of criminal possession of a controlled substance 4th degree, a class C felony, after knowingly and unlawfully possessing one or more preparations, compounds, mixtures or substances containing a narcotic drug, Fentanyl, and said preparations, compounds, mixtures or substances were of an aggregate weight of one-eighth or more.

In Count three, a Grand Jury has accused Laney of the crime of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor, after she knowingly and unlawfully processed a controlled substance, methadone, on September 10, 2020 in the Town of LeRoy.

In Count four, Laney is accused of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree after knowingly and unlawfully possessing a controlled substance, hydrocodone on the same above date and location.

In Count five, Laney is accused of criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor, after knowingly possessing or selling geletin capsules, glassine envelopes, vials, capsules or any other material suitable for the packaging or individual quantities of narcotic drugs or stimulants with intent to use or some person intended to use, the same for the purpose of unlawfully manufacturing, packaging or dispensing of any narcotic drug or stimulant on the same above date and location.

In Count 6, she is accused of criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd, a class A misdemeanor, after Laney knowingly possessed scales and balances used or designed for the purpose of weighing or measuring controlled substances under circumstances with an intent to use or under circumstances evincing knowledge that some person intended to use the same for the purpose of unlawfully manufacturing, packaging or dispensing of any narcotic drug or simulant on the same day in the same location mentioned in the above counts.

In Count 7, The Grand Jury further accuses Laney of the crime of criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd, a class A misdemeanor, after she knowingly possessed diluents , dilutants or adulterants used for the dilution of narcotic drugs or stimulants under circumstances evincing knowledge that some person intended to use the same for the purpose of unlawfully mixing, compounding or otherwise preparing any narcotic drug or stimulant , Mannitol, on the same above date and same location mentioned in the above counts.
