Arrests

Aggravated Unlicensed Operation (AUO) 1st; Unregistered Trailer; Unlicensed Operator, 9:45PM, Sunday, April 25, 2021, Clinton St. – Marcus HILL M/38, was arrested following a traffic stop after patrols observed a trailer being towed without a license plate. Upon further investigation it was learned that HILL was operating while having a revoked NYS Non-Driver ID with a total of 62 suspensions.  

Disorderly Conduct; Public Lewdness, 6:22AM, Monday, April 26, 2021, N. Spruce St. – Thomas TACITO M/61, was arrested after making obscene gestures and exposing his bare buttocks to a neighbor during a dispute. TACITO was issued an appearance ticket and released. TACITO is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 5/4/2021.  

Driving While Intoxicated; Aggravated DWI – Operating with a BAC >.18%, 1:51PM, Monday, April 26, 2021, N. Spruce St. – Scott GRAHAM M/56, was arrested following an investigation into a property damaged motor vehicle accident which occurred in the parking lot of an apartment complex. GRAHAM allegedly pulled into the parking lot and struck an unoccupied, legally parked vehicle. GRAHAM was issued UTT’s and released.  

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th , 1:44AM, Sunday, March 21, 2021, Richmond Ave. – Melissa WETMORE F/48 was arrested on 4/26/21, after a traffic stop on March 21, 2021 where WETMORE possessed cocaine (confirmed by Monroe County Crime Lab). WETMORE was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 5/4/2021.   

Criminal Tampering, 4:20PM, Tuesday, April 27, 2021, N. Spruce St. – Thomas TACITO M/61, was arrested after TACITO allegedly taped the car windows and doors of another individual without their consent. TACITO was issued an appearance ticket and released. TACITO is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 5/4/2021.  

Harassment 2nd, 5:04PM, Tuesday, April 27, 2021, Oak St. – Alisia COMPTON F/37, was arrested following a report of a physical altercation on the front lawn of her residence. It is alleged that COMPTON subjected another person to unwanted physical contact. COMPTON was issued an appearance ticket and released. COMPTON is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 5/4/2021.

Criminal Mischief 4th, 5:04PM, Tuesday, April 27, 2021, Oak St. – Erin CONNOLLY F/40, was arrested following a report of a physical altercation on the front lawn of her residence. It is alleged that CONNOLLY intentionally damaged the lawn mower belonging to another person. CONNOLLY was issued an appearance ticket and released. CONNOLLY is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on 5/4/2021.

Assault 3rd; Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Obstructing Governmental Administration; Resisting Arrest, 8:14PM, Tuesday, April 27, 2021, Thorpe St. – Bennie WRIGHT was arrested after a domestic incident where it is alleged WRIGHT struck a female multiple time in front of children playing in the neighborhood then fled on foot after being told Batavia Police had been called. Upon receiving the initial complaint, a male matching the description of WRIGHT was observed. Officers attempted to stop WRIGHT, who attempted to evade police by running. A short foot pursuit ensued, where WRIGHT was taken in to custody. WRIGHT continued to physically resist Officers commands and be combative. WRIGHT was arraigned in Batavia City Court and was remanded to Genesee County Jail in lieu of $1.00 cash bail. It should be noted, at the time of the incident, WRIGHT was on parole and held at the Genesee County Jail on a NYS Parole Violation.
