ORLEANS COUNTY SHERIFF’S BLOTTER

On May 3, the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office charged Kolin McKain, 24, of Albion, with burglary 3rd and petit larceny. He was arraigned by CAP Court and released on his own recognizance. McKain is scheduled to return to the Town of Murray Court.

On May 5, the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office charged Evan VanSkiver, 29, of Holley, with criminal contempt 2nd stemming from an incident in October 2020. He was arraigned by CAP Court and released on his own recognizance. VanSkiver is scheduled to return to the Town of Murray Court.

On May 6, the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office charged Venita Nauden, 45, of Waterport, with trespass. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the Town of Carlton Court.

On May 7, the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office charged Jaremy Burnside, 26, of Murray, with burglary 2nd, endangering the welfare of a child (2 counts), and harassment 2nd. He was remanded to the Jail on $5,000 cash, $20,000 insurance company bail bond, or $20,000 partially secured surety bond with a 10% deposit. Burnside is scheduled to return to the Town of Murray Court.

On May 7, the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office charged Chad Heideman, 46, of Lyndonville, with criminal mischief 4th: preventing emergency call and harassment 2nd. He was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to return to the Town of Yates Court.
