GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Motorcyclist suffers injuries after colliding with a metal gate in Oakfield

A motorcyclist was injured after colliding with a metal gate in a laneway, just south of the US Gypsum Company, at 2750 Maple avenue road on Thursday evening.

Emergency responders were requested to the scene about 6:15p.m..

The motorcyclist continued traveling westbound after 5 people on motorcycles/UTV’s in front of him stopped. The motorcyclist then collided with the metal gate and broke the gate open. He was transported to Strong hospital via Mercy Flight. His condition is unknown.

There are no charges in the incident.

Christopher C. Good, 19, of Pembroke, was arrested and charged with unlawful imprisonment 2nd, a class A misdemeanor, after an incident that occurred on June 8, 2021. He was arraigned virtually in the Town of Bergen Court and released on recognizance.

After an investigation, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Good’s residence.

Good was allegedly in possession of a firearm and a high capacity ammunition feeding device in violation of a previously served order of protection. He was then charged with criminal contempt 2nd, a class A misdemeanor and criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, a class D felony.

Good was virtually arraigned in Genesee County Court and was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff in lieu of $2,500 cash and $5,000 bond.

The Genesee County District Attorney’s Office assisted in the investigation.
