Kaleb J. Bobzien, 23, of Alexander Rd., Batavia, is facing a 14 count indictment after a June 24, 2021 incident on Alexander road. Bobzien allegedly obstructed the breathing of two people. During the altercation, Bobzien allegedly placed a blanket over the face of one victim and choked the second person with his arm according to deputies.
He is accused of strangulation 2nd, a class D violent felony, criminal obstruction of breathing, endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of harassment 2nd, two counts of criminal mischief 4th, 4 counts of criminal contempt 2nd, and 3 counts of tampering with a witness 4th.
After the incident, Bobzien allegedly violated orders of protection and allegedly attempted to get witnesses to avoid appearing or testifying in proceedings.
