Celina A. Desinord, 19, of Rochester, is charged with attempted criminal mischief 4th, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, harassment 2nd and unlicensed operation, after being observed sleeping in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle at Crosby’s on Clinton street road in Batavia on November 21, 2021 at 12:50am.
A license check revealed that Desinord has a suspended license and only had a suspended identification card.
Desinord was then secured in the rear of a patrol vehicle and a search of her vehicle was completed. The search resulted in suspected narcotics being located. The suspected narcotics were seized and sent to a lab for testing.
While speaking with Desinord during the incident, she allegedly spit at a deputy. While the deputy was completing an appearance ticket for the incident, she allegedly kicked the rear passenger window of the patrol vehicle as well as the front and rear seat glass divider at least 71 times. Desinord also allegedly spit several times at the divider and the window.
Desinord was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Batavia Town Court on December 21, 2021 at 1:00p.m.

Zlyad Z. Alhojaji, 22, of Rochester, is charged with petit larceny, after a larceny complaint at Walmart at 4133 Veteran’s Memorial Drive in Batavia on November 18, 2021 at 9:30p.m.
Alhojaji allegedly stole merchandise from the store without paying.
Alhojaji was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and released on an appearance ticket.
Alhojaji is scheduled to appear in Batavia Town Court on December 21, 2021 at 1:00p.m.
