BATAVIA/Police looking for warrant suspect after incident on Central avenue

The Batavia Police Department is looking for Devon Wright, 20, who is wanted on an arrest warrant out of Batavia City Court, on the charges of criminal tampering 3rd and two counts of harassment 2nd.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on 11/27/2021 at a residence on Central Avenue. During the incident, Wright allegedly shoved two females. Wright also allegedly tampered with the property of one of the females by throwing it all over the residence, which caused a substantial inconvenience to the female.

The Batavia Police Department is looking for Devon Wright, 20, who also has a bench warrant for violating the terms of his release on his recent plea pertaining to the charges of attempted criminal possession of a weapon 2nd, assault 3rd, attempted assault 1st, and criminal sexual act 4th.
