GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia man charged after vehicle pursuit in August

Dana M. Mcgill, 61, of Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, failure to signal, driving left of pavement markings, failure to obey a police officer, operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, moving from a lane unsafely, speeding in excess of 55mph and failure to obey a traffic control device, after failing to yield to the lawful command of a police officer, leading deputies on a vehicle pursuit on Townline road in Byron on August 8, 2021 at 2:29a.m.

Mcgill was allegedly driving under the influence of drugs and allegedly possessed drugs.

He was released on appearance tickets and will appear in Byron Town Court on December 6, 2021 at 4:00p.m.

Gerard H. Altenburg, 26, of Pembroke, is charged with aggravated DWI, driving with a BAC of .18% or more/previous conviction in the last 10 years, DWI, speeding in excess of 55mph, unsafe passing on the left, interfered with safe operation, driving to the left of pavement markings, inadequate muffler, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and reckless driving, after a traffic stop on Main road in Pembroke on December 1, 2021 at 7:02p.m.

Altenburg was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in Town of Pembroke Court on January 6, 2022 at 1:00p.m.

John K. Hobbs, 34, of Batavia, is charged with burglary 2nd/illegal entry-dwelling and criminal contempt 2nd, following an incident that occurred on November 4, 2021 on Clinton street road at 11:30p.m.

Hobbs was arraigned in Batavia Town Court by Judge Young and held on bail.

He will re-appear in Batavia Town Court on December 21, 2021.
