WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Freedom man accused of stealing propane tanks in Arcade

Deputies responded to a business located on Route 98 in the Town of Arcade on November 29, 2021, for a report of multiple propane tanks being stolen from that location.

Upon further investigation, the propane tanks were located by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office at the suspect’s residence in Freedom. As a result, Travis J. Neamon, 30 of Freedom, NY, was arrested and charged with grand larceny in the 4th degree. The total value of the propane tanks was estimated to be $1,725.80, and all stolen tanks were returned to the business by deputies.

Neamon was processed and issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Arcade Court on December 9, 2021.

Samantha Raiber, 27, of Java Village, was arrested following a traffic stop on Michigan Road in the Town of Java on December 6, 2021.

Raiber was observed by Police to be allegedly operating a motor vehicle well above the posted speed limit which led to a traffic stop. After a license check, her license was found to be suspended for failure to answer a summons in the Village of Arcade.

Raiber was arrested and processed roadside for aggravated operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and is scheduled to answer the charge in the Town of Java Court at a later date in December.

A deputy from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop for inadequate headlights on Northwoods Road in the Town of Arcade on December 6, 2021.

The owner/operator of the vehicle, Brandon T. Lancaster, 32, of Delevan, NY, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while registration suspended. Lancaster had one active suspension on the registration for insurance not in effect. It was confirmed that the vehicle did not have valid insurance and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

Lancaster is charged with operating while registration suspended, operating with no valid insurance, and inadequate headlights.

He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Arcade Court on January 13, 2022.
