Michael D. Hazzard, 31, of Scottsville, is charged with assault 3rd degree after allegedly hitting a victim about 15 times in the face and head with a closed fist, causing physical injury to the victim.
The incident occurred on Dublin road in Bergen on January 23, 2022, at 2:30a.m.
Hazzard was issued an appearance ticket and released.
He will appear in Bergen Town Court on February 16, 2022 at 3:00p.m.

Todd A. Brumber, 57, of Darien, is charged with DWI, moving from a lane unsafely, speed not reasonable and prudent and failure to keep right/ two lane road, following a property damage complaint on Alexander road in Batavia on January 23, 2022, at 8:31p.m.
It is alleged that Brumber was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated by alcohol in the Town of Batavia. He is to appear in Batavia Town Court on February 3, 2022, at 1:00p.m.
