Six fire companies responded to a trailer fire in the town of Arcade on Tuesday evening at 350 Parkview drive.
About 7:40pm, fire crews from Arcade, North Java, Strykersville, Chaffee -Sardinia and Yorkshire were requested to the home of Ashley Carnes. According to Wyoming County Office of Emergency Services, the trailer home sustained moderate smoke and fire damage. The occupant is being assisted by and staying with friends.
Estimated damages are $10,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Fire crews were on scene about two hours.
Also assisting on scene, Wyoming County Emergency services, the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department, Arcade Electric and Arcade Police.
