Arrests

Failure to appear after appearance ticket served, 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 1, 2022, W. Main St. – Lauralee Pacer, F/36 of Batavia, NY was taken into custody by police on an arrest warrant for failing to appear in court after being issued an appearance ticket from a prior arrest. PACER is scheduled to appear in Batavia City Court on March 17, 2022, at 1:30PM.  

Bail Jumping 3rd, 12:01 AM, Saturday, April 18, 2019, W. Main St. – Shante R. WILLIAMS, F/38 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on March 8, 2022, on an arrest warrant for Bail Jumping in the 3rd Degree. WILLIAMS was arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge Burns on March 8, 2022. WILLIAMS was released to Genesee Justice and is due back in Batavia City Court on March 24, 2022, at 1:30PM.  

Petit Larceny: Conspiracy 6th, 9:58 PM, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, State St. – James D. HOOTEN, M/33, of Batavia, NY, and Brittanee J. HOOTEN, F/33 of Batavia, NY, were both arrested on the above charges. Police were called to 99 Jackson Street, Kwik Fill, for the report of a larceny. After conducting an investigation and positively identified the suspects, they were located and arrested. Both subjects were issued an appearance ticket and are due back in Batavia City Court on March 29, 2022 at 1:00p.m..  

Fail to Appear – Bench Warrant, 7:56 AM, Thursday, February 10, 2022, E. Main St. – On March 5, 2022, Officer Poat arrested Shawn M. TWARDOWSKI, M/39 of LeRoy, NY, on multiple active bench and arrest warrants out of Batavia City Court for trespass and petit larceny. TWARDOWSKI was arraigned in front of Judge Rogers who released TWARDOWSKI under supervision with a return court date of March 10, 2022, at 10:30AM.  

Harassment 2nd, 2:34 PM, Friday, March 4, 2022, State St. – On March 4, 2022, Lyndsay T. YOUNG, F/38, of Batavia, NY, was arrested after an investigation into an accident where it is alleged that she struck another individual in the face causing a scratch under the victim’s eye. YOUNG was issued an appearance ticket for Batavia City Court at a later date.  

Bench Warrant, 1:00 PM, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, W. Main St. – Jolene Y. STEVENS, F/33 of Batavia, NY, was arrested following the execution of a bench warrant for failing to appear for a scheduled court date. STEVENS was arraigned in front of Judge Burns at 1:03PM, given a new court date of March 17, 2022, at 1:30PM and released on recognizance.  

Petit Larceny, 12:47 PM, Thursday, March 3, 2022, E. Main St. – On March 3, 2022, Rufus G. JOHNSON, M/28 of North-Chili, NY, was arrested after an incident where he was alleged to have stolen merchandise from a local business in the City of Batavia. When JOHNSON was located, he was found to still have the alleged stolen merchandise on his person. JOHNSON was arrested and issued an appearance ticket to appear in Batavia City Court at a later date.
