Beth A. Jeffres, 40, of Covington, NY, is charged with filing a false instrument 2nd degree after allegedly providing a false supporting deposition on March 21, 2022. Jeffres provided another supporting deposition on April 7, 2022, recanting her original statement.
Jeffres was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on April 14, 2022, at 1:00p.m.

James J. Preedom, 37, of Batavia, NY, is charged with harassment 2nd degree after an incident on West Main street road in Batavia on April 8, 2022.
Preedom was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court on April 11, 2022 and released on recognizance by Judge Funke.
An order of protection was issued on the victim’s behalf.

Jordan A. Brown, 20, no address provided, is charged with criminal mischief 4th after being arrested on April 13, 2022, in the Town of Alabama after an incident on Lewiston road where Brown allegedly damaged property that belonged to another person.
Brown was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Alabama Town Court on May 3, 2022, at 6:00p.m.
