Arrests

Harassment 2nd; Menacing 2nd; Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd; Criminal Mischief 4th, 5:00 AM, Friday, April 8, 2022, River St. – Cameron J. SOKOLOWSKI, M/29 of Batavia, NY, was arrested on April 8, 2022, for the above listed charges stemming from a domestic incident. Sokolowski allegedly menaced a female victim with a knife and threatened to kill her. It is also alleged that he damaged property and would not allow the female victim to leave a room. Sokolowski was arraigned in Batavia City Court by Judge Rogers at 9:30AM. He was released under supervision of Genesee Justice and is scheduled to return to Batavia City Court on April 27, 2022, at 3:00PM.   

Petit Larceny, 9:00 AM, Monday, April 11, 2022, E. Main St. – Tonya M. WEBER, F/38 of Batavia, NY, was arrested for petit larceny on April 12, 2022. It is alleged that Weber took items from a business on E. Main street without paying for them. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in Batavia City Court on April 26, 2022.  

Assault 3rd; Menacing 2nd; Criminal Possession of a weapon 3rd; Endangering the welfare of a child, 9:06 PM, Thursday, April 14, 2022, Washington Ave. – On April 14, 2022, Lakeisha A. GIBSON, F/35 of Albion, NY, was arrested on the above charges. It’s alleged that she hit another person in the face, causing injury, and threatened to stab them with a pair of scissors, during a domestic dispute. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice. She is due back in court on May 11, 2022.
