On May 5, 2022, at approximately 3:26 p.m., a deputy from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Warsaw.
The suspect vehicle was observed traveling eastbound with no rear license plate. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Renaco Drake, 39, and the passenger as Tajia White, 30, both of Stratham, Georgia.
During the course of the traffic stop, Drake was requested to step from the vehicle for further questioning. During contact with both occupants, probable cause was established, and a vehicle search was conducted. The search yielded two, loaded 9mm handguns, which were both found to be possessed illegally.
Drake and White were both charged with criminal possession of a weapon 2nd degree – loaded firearm, with Drake also receiving a traffic ticket for no/improper license plate.
Both subjects were arraigned in the Town of Perry Court. Drake was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash/$5,000 bond/$7,500 partially secured bond. White was also remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $500 cash/$1,000 bond/$2,500 partially secured bond.
Both are scheduled to appear in the Town of Warsaw Court on May 16, 2022, for further proceedings.
Assisting with the arrest were members of the Warsaw Police Department and the Perry Police Department.

Ausha T. Wiggins, 32, of Buffalo was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Perry on May 7, 2022.
Wiggins was stopped for traffic infractions when the odor of burned cannabis was detected coming from within her vehicle. A subsequent vehicle search led to the discovery of partially burned cannabis and also a hydrocodone pill in Wiggins’ purse.
Wiggins is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, consumption of cannabis in a motor vehicle, and side windows non-transparent.
Wiggins was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charges in the Town of Perry Court on May 18, 2022.
