NYS POLICE/Convicted felons arrested for having a stolen firearm

On May 25, 2022, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Travis M. Cook, 34, of Arcade, NY, and Kimberly N. White, 33, of Albion, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 2nd- Loaded Firearm – C Felony, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 3rd- Previous Conviction – Firearm – D Felony, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 3rd- Previous Conviction – Brass Knuckles – D Felony and Criminal Possession of Stolen property, 3rd- Firearm – E Felony.

On May 26, 2022, Troopers out of SP Warsaw responded to assist a Wyoming County Sheriff Investigator with a traffic stop on North Main Street in the town of Holland. Further investigation revealed that the suspects were in possession of a 9mm Smith & Wesson pistol which was reported stolen earlier that day. Both suspects had suspended/revoked driver’s licenses and are currently out on bail for burglary earlier in May 2022. Cook is currently on parole and is a three-time convicted felon and White has one felony conviction.

Both were arrested and processed without incident. Both were arraigned in the town of Holland Court and remanded without bail.
