Luis G. Torres, 42, of LeRoy, NY, is charged with attempted assault 2nd, with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon, a class E felony, menacing 2nd/with a weapon, a class A misdemeanor, and criminal possession of a weapon 3rd degree/previous conviction, a class D felony, after an incident on June 1, 2022, in LeRoy.
Torres was transported to the LeRoy Police Department for processing and arraignment and was later remanded to the Genesee County Jail on $20,000 cash bail, $40,000 secured bond and $80,000 bond. A full stay away order of protection was also issued.
Torres will appear in LeRoy Town Court on June 7, 2022 at 1:00p.m. to answer the charges.
