GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Rochester man charged with stalking

Joseph N. Trinca, 34, of Rochester, NY, is charged with stalking 4th degree and harassment 2nd degree, after allegedly stalking and harassing another person in Batavia for an extended period of time. An order of protection was issued for the victim on June 9, 2022.

Trinca was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and released. He is due back in court at a later date.

Elayasia A. Mendez, 26, of Rochester, NY, is charged with felony DWI, with two or more convictions within 10 years, following a traffic stop on Rt. 33 in the Town of Stafford on June 11, 2022 at 3:22a.m.

Mendez is also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 1st degree, using a vehicle without an interlock device and uninspected motor vehicle. Later, she was charged with forgery 2nd, criminal impersonation 2nd and falsifying business records at the Genesee County Jail for allegedly identifying herself as another person in an attempt to hide her identity.

Assisting in the investigation was Sgt. Michael Lute and Senior Corrections Officer Jason Queal.

Mendez was held at the Genesee County Jail pending arraignment.

Shealyn K. McDaniel, 31, of Rochester, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree, unlicensed operation and stopping/standing/parking on a public highway, following a traffic stop on Lewiston road in the Town of Batavia on June 5, 2022 at 12:41a.m.

McDaniel was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on June 26, 2022, at 1:00p.m.

Kimberly A. Brodsky, 30, of Canandaigua, NY, is charged with petit larceny and conspiracy 6th after she and an unidentified male allegedly stole merchandise from Kohl’s Department store on Veteran’s Memorial drive on May 25, 2022 at 7:46p.m.

Brodsky was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on July 5, 2022 at 10:00a.m.
