The House of Bounce held its soft opening on Wednesday afternoon with an official ribbon cutting event at 56 Harvester avenue provided by the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce.
Batavia natives Justina and Pat Rapone and their four children moved back to the area from New Mexico and recognized a need for a children’s indoor play space and birthday party room here in the area. So, they created an interactive space for children twelve and under to play, climb, jump, and explore.
“You have to go to either Buffalo or Rochester, it’s a day trip. I figured this would be great for the community to have something right here,” says Justina.
They are located on the ground floor at the Harvester Center in Batavia and are taking appointments for play beginning today. They will open on July 1st. Walk in hours will posted weekly on their social media pages. Link to their website www.houseofbouncebatavia.com
The House of Bounce has multiple inflatables, including jump houses, slides, an obstacle course, balloon bounce house, a foam pit, rock wall, beanbox, soft play items for younger kids and a video game area for the older kids. (Parents are required to stay with their children during the play session)
Play sessions are 2 hours and can hold up to 60 children at once. Cost is $14.99 per child, that includes one parent. Additional adult is $5.99 per person. There are weekday and weekend packages for parties. Play sessions for parties can be private or shared with the public. Check website for cost. Pizza and drinks are included with the party.
“We supply everything for the party except the cake and the bring your presents and the kids.”
In the near future they are planning Fort Night competitions for old kids and a nerf gun war. Bounce house rentals are also available.
