GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia man charged after allegedly traveling at speeds in excess of 120mph

Cordero L. Royes, 35, of Batavia, NY, is charged with DWI, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway, reckless driving, speeding in a zone and no seat belt on July 5, 2022, at 9:58p.m.

Royes was allegedly traveling eastbound in a motor vehicle on Rt. 33 through the village of Corfu at speeds in excess of 120mph while allegedly intoxicated by alcohol.

Royes was released with an appearance ticket and will appear in Pembroke Town Court on July 21, 2022, at 1:00p.m.

William R. Humphrey, 38, of LeRoy, NY, and Maxwell J. Reigelsperger, 20, of Atlanta, NY, are each charged with criminal mischief 2nd, grand larceny 4th and conspiracy 5th, following an investigation on Perry Road in the Town of Pavilion on July 12, 2022.

Humphrey allegedly removed a catalytic converter from a vehicle without the owner’s permission in February of 2022.

Both Humphrey and Reigelsperger were arraigned in Pavilion Town Court and released on their own recognizance. They will appear in Pavilion Town Court on September 13, 2022, at 3:00p.m.

Deputy Nicholas Chamoun and Investigator Kevin Forsyth investigated the matter.

Jonathan W. Dodson, 38, of Holley, NY, is charged with aggravated DWI Per Se, driving with a BAC of .18 % or more/no priors, DWI/first offense, and a speed violation/exceeding 55mph, after a traffic stop on S. Main street in Elba on July 8, 2022 at 10:11p.m.

Dodson was stopped by deputies on Rt. 98 for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.

Dodson was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and released with appearance tickets.

He will appear in Elba Town Court on July 20, 2022, at 6:00p.m.
