The motto at House of Bridal is, “It’s a good day, to be a good day”
“We want our brides to leave all the stressors of planning a wedding outside, you come in and you are going to have a good time,” says Mady Fox/Co-owner.
Growing up in LeRoy, Mady and Stephanie Lentine have been best friends since third grade.
“We’ve always loved fashion and we both ended up working in the bridal industry and we figured we love this so much, why not start our own store.”
The pair, who have been in the business for 6 plus years, have been planning a bridal business since January, but were not initially looking in LeRoy. They were looking in Chili, Buffalo and Batavia.
“We weren’t planning to be in LeRoy, but everything just started to work out,” says Stephanie Lentine, Co-owner.
Stephanie says after chatting with her sister, Renee Johnson, owner of the Divine Tree, about where to set up a shop, Stephanie expressed that Renee’s shop at 19 Main street would be a perfect place.
“I called her up and said, I wish I had your shop, she called me back and said lets work something out.”
In early May, the Divine Tree closed and Mady and Stephanie went to work creating a welcoming, warm atmosphere at 19 Main street in LeRoy.
“We have an innovative approach to gowns that other places do not have, not a lot of stores in the area have this collection,” says Stephanie.
“When you come in its definitely a different dynamic,” says Mady.
“It’s not like you are meeting an employee or owner, you’re meeting two best friends who are here to make you have as much fun as we have when you come in, it’s an experience. We educate girls on the dresses. It’s such a special event and special moment in their life, lets make it memorable, says Mady.
