GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia man accused of taking money

Adam M. Kopper, 35, of Batavia, NY, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing $737.00 worth of U.S. currency between July 13, 2022 and July 16, 2022 while employed by a retail store located on Veteran’s Memorial drive.

Kopper was arrested at this residence in the Town of Batavia on August 11, 2022.

He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on September 27, 2022.

Robert Drewry, 56, of Buffalo, NY, is charged with petit larceny following an investigation into stolen U.S. currency from a motor vehicle on Harloff road in the town of Batavia on June 8, 2022.

Drewry was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on September 20, 2022, at 1:00p.m.

Christine M. Caplis, 42, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree while being arrested on a bench warrant issued out of the Town of Stafford Court.

Caplis was observed on a bicycle in the City of Batavia and taken into custody on August 13, 2022. At the time of the arrest, Caplis was allegedly in possession of illegal narcotics.

She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and will re-appear in court on August 18, 2022, at 1:30p.m.
