BATAVIA/Eden Cafe and Bakeshop officially cuts the ribbon on their new location on Ellicott street

The Eden Cafe and Bakeshop, located at 242 Ellicott street in Batavia, celebrated their Grand Opening on Tuesday afternoon with an official ribbon cutting provided by the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce.

The restaurant is the creation of Judy Hysek, who after participating in the 2017 Foodie Challenge, was chosen to operate as a freshLab incubator inside the Eli Fish Brewing Company on Main street in Batavia. Eden specializes in plant-based dining and is known for their carrot dogs, crunchwraps and cauliflower wings. All this week you can taste a carrot dog sample for free.

The new location held a soft opening in early May and is now fully up and running with a full menu. The new location can seat over 20 people and there is free parking in the private parking lot in the rear of the building along with street parking. Customers can dine in or order online for pickup or delivery.
