NYS Police Report/Pembroke man charged in traffic stop in Newstead

On August 23, 2022, Troopers out of SP Clarence arrested Donald S. Lewandowski, 44, of Pembroke, NY, charging him with DWI. 

During a traffic stop on Main Road in the town of Newstead, Lewandowski was exhibiting signs of impairment. Troopers determined Lewandowski had allegedly been operating a vehicle while in an impaired condition. 

Lewandowski allegedly failed standardized field sobriety tests.  He was transported and processed at SP Clarence, where he refused to submit to a chemical test. 

Lewandowski was released with appearance tickets for the town of Newstead court, where he is due to appear at a later date.

On August 23, 2022, SP Batavia Troopers arrested Eric P. Doleman, 52, of Corfu, NY, charging him with petit larceny.

Troopers were dispatched to Walmart on Veterans Memorial Drive in the town of Batavia for a larceny complaint. Troopers worked with Walmart loss prevention, and it was determined that Doleman allegedly took merchandise valued at $128.04 passing all points of purchase without paying.

Doleman was arrested and released on an appearance ticket which is returnable to the town of Batavia Court at a later date in August 2022.
