Fire crews from Varysburg and Warsaw responded to 1 Robin Lane in the Town of Orangeville on September 19, 2022 at 11:47a.m., after a reported fire caused by a lightning strike.
According to Wyoming County Emergency Services, the electrical service and phone lines were struck by lightning which traveled into the home owned by Natalie and James Collier Jr., causing multiple small fires.
Estimated damages are about $12,000.
Fire crews were on scene for about 2 hours. Also assisting in scene, Wyoming County Emergency Services and National Grid.
