GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia man accused of stealing a water truck from the fairgrounds

Gerald K. Freeman, 70, of Batavia, NY, is charged with grand larceny 4th degree/larceny of a motor vehicle over $100, after allegedly stealing a Ford water truck from the Genesee County Fairgrounds on East Main street on October 4, 2022 at 7:43p.m.

Freeman was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Batavia Town Court on October 18, 2022, at 10:00a.m.

Hunter J. Stetz, 19, of Hamburg, NY, is charged with possession of a forged instrument 2nd degree, after allegedly being in possession of a fraudulent NYS photographic driver’s license, used while attempting to purchase alcohol at 9993 Alleghany road in Darien on August 25, 2022, at 8:14p.m.

Stetz was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Darien Town Court on October 11, 2022, at 4:00p.m.
