GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Woman charged with felony arson after investigation

Brandi L. Reuben, 26, no address provided, is charged with arson 3rd degree, criminal mischief 3rd degree and conspiracy 5th degree, all felonies, after an investigation into a building fire at 368 Martin road in Alabama, NY, on September 29, 2022, at 10:38p.m.

Reuben allegedly set fire to a building causing damage.

Reuben was arraigned in Alabama Town Court and released on her own recognizance.

Also charged in the investigation is Garrett S. Porter, 26, no address provided. He is charged with conspiracy 5th degree and was released on an appearance ticket.

Both Reuben and Porter will appear in Alabama Town Court on November 15, 2022, at 6:00p.m.

Rufus G. Johnson, 29, of Chili, NY, is charged with burglary 3rd degree and petit larceny, after allegedly stealing property from Walmart, 4133 Veteran’s Memorial Drive in the town of Batavia, on October 8, 2022 at 10:07a.m.

Johnson was previously trespassed from the property.

Johnson is to appear in the Town of Batavia Court on October 26, 2022, at 10:00a.m.
