The Batavia City School District welcomed families to the 2nd annual Community Schools Fall Expo at Robert Morris School at 80 Union street on Wednesday evening.
Students were able to pick out new or gently used winter clothing, including hats, gloves, scarves and boots, grab a bite to eat, shop for a book to read, decorate a pumpkin, visit with City Firefighters and School Resource Officers, and enjoy the company of the school staff and the community.
If any family in the Batavia City School District was unable to attend on Wednesday evening, the Community Closet at 80 Union street is open all year around and can be visited by contacting Julie Rogers or Julie Wasilewski to make an appointment.
Donations are also accepted all year around at the Community Closet.
