GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia man accused of selling over $1,000 worth of stolen merchandise

Jamie S. Schlonski, 50, of Old Meadow Lane, Batavia, NY, is charged with grand larceny 4th degree, criminal possession of stolen property 4th degree, and 3 counts of falsifying business records 1st degree, after a larceny of merchandise from a retail store located at 4180 Veteran’s Memorial Drive on October 18, 2022.

Schlonski allegedly stole over $1,000 in merchandise from the retail store, and then sold the merchandise for money at another business at 4140 Veteran’s Memorial Drive. He was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Batavia Court on December 15, 2022 at 1:00p.m.

The case was investigated by Investigator Erik Andre.

Lauren M. Peters, 32, of Martin Road, Tonawanda Indian Reservation, is charged with burglary 3rd degree and petit larceny, after allegedly entering a building and taking property from the building on Martin Road on November 23, 2022.

Peters was arraigned in Pembroke Town Court and released on her own recognizance. She is due back in Alabama Town Court on December 6, 2022.

Andrew J. Duckworth, 43, of Liberty St., Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd on November 9, 2022 at a residence on Liberty Street.

Duckworth was released on an appearance ticket and was scheduled to appeared in Batavia City Court on November 16, 2022.

Kervin J. Jonathan, 28, of Council House Road, Tonawanda Indian Reservation, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd degree, after allegedly violating an order of protection by being in the presence of the protected party on November 17, 2022.

Jonathan was arrested and transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and is to appear in Alabama Town Court on December 6, 2022 at 6:00p.m.

Loretta L. Baer, 51, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree after she was allegedly found to be in possession of fentanyl on May 20, 2022 on East Main Street in Batavia.

Baer was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on November 29, 2022 at 1:00p.m.

Lisa M. Durham, no age or address provided, of Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree after she was allegedly found to be in possession of fentanyl on June 9, 2022 on East Main Street in Batavia.

Durham was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on December 6, 2022 at 1:00p.m.

Taiya J. Rolle, 18, of North Street, Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd degree and failure to dim lights, following a traffic stop on Clinton Street Road in Byron, NY on November 23, 2022.

Rolle was issued appearance tickets and released. Rolle will appear in Byron Town Court on December 12, 2022 at 4:00p.m.
