GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia man accused stealing over $3,000 in merchandise

Giuseppe G. Fiannaca, 33, of Batavia, NY, is charged with grand larceny 3rd degree, after a reported larceny at 4181 Veteran’s Memorial Drive in Batavia.

From August 1, 2022 through October 12, 2022, Fiannaca allegedly sole over $3,000 in merchandise from a retail store.

Fiannaca was arraigned in the town of Batavia Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to reappear in court on December 13, 2022 at 2:30p.m.

The case was investigated by Investigator Erik Andre.

Beth A. Jeffres, 40, homeless, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a narcotic drug, two counts of criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell, promoting prison contraband 1st degree, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, after allegedly entering the Genesee County Jail with a quantity of controlled substances on November 26, 2022.

Jeffres was held on cash bail and is due to reappear in City Court on December 15, 2022.
