The new space is 17,000 square feet and seats 160-200 people for performances. Burk says 30-40 Batavia Players members have been volunteering over the past two years with painting, cleaning, finishing walls, floor refinishing and demolition. The space was previously a doctor’s imaging center and an urgent care before Batavia Players moved in.
