Cardiac sonographers or echocardiographers as they’re also known, use the latest technology to detect heart disease more accurately than ever before.  They help cardiologists determine the level of your heart function and figure out which arteries are blocked, they can find masses and tumors and even help make sure cancer patients’ treatments are not damaging their hearts.

Cardiac sonographers are in demand, and several local programs including a partnership between RRH and RIT are working to bring more cardiac sonographers online.
