Weldon J. Ervin, 31, of Pembroke, NY, is charged with assault 3rd degree/recklessly causing physical injury and unauthorized use of a vehicle without owner consent, after a domestic incident on March 26, 2023 in Pembroke at 8:30a.m.
After an investigation, deputies say Ervin allegedly caused injury to another person recklessly and did not have permission to take a vehicle.
Ervin will appear in Pembroke Town Court on April 12, 2023 in front of Judge O’Connor.

Matthew J. Zon, 41, of Byron, NY, is charged with criminal contempt 1st degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree after allegedly violating an order of protection requiring him to stay away from the protected party. Zon was also allegedly in possession of a controlled substance at the time of arrest on March 31, 2023.

Jason H. Freeman, 41, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree and introducing dangerous contraband into a prison/jail 1st degree, after allegedly being in possession of narcotics when he was arrested on November 2, 2022, on an unrelated charge, at the Genesee County Jail at 14 West Main Street.
Freeman was released after being arrested March 26, 2023 on the first charge and was issued an appearance ticket to appear in City Court on April 4, 2023 at 1:00p.m. On March 30, 2023, he was arrested on the second charge and Freeman was held pending arraignment in CAP Court
