Tylee D. Gaines, aka “Love”, 44, of Summerville Dr., Rochester, NY, is charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd degree, a class B felony, three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, a class B felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor, after an investigation into the possession, transportation and sale of crack cocaine in and around the city of Batavia.
Gaines was taken into custody on April 7th on a sealed Grand Jury indictment warrant during a traffic stop by Sheriff’s Deputies. Gaines allegedly sold quantities of crack cocaine to an agent of the Genesee County Drug Task Force while in Batavia. During the traffic stop, Gaines was allegedly found to be in possession of an additional 14 bags of crack cocaine which was unrelated to the sealed indictment warrant/original charges.
Gaines was held until arraignment in Genesee County Court and then released under supervision.
Task Force members were assisted by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office.

Andrew W. Taylor, 35, of W. Main St., Batavia, NY, is charged with arson 4th degree, reckless endangerment 2nd degree and criminal mischief 4th degree following an investigation into an incident on April 2, 2023 on W. Main Street in Batavia at 7:34a.m.
Taylor was issued appearance tickets returnable to Batavia City Court and will appear in City Court on May 2, 2023.

Justin R. Nadrowski, 31, of Pratt Rd., Batavia, NY, is charged with unlawful surveillance 2nd degree after allegedly placing a camera inside the bedroom of another person without their knowledge or consent on April 6, 2023. Nadrowski was held at the Genesee County Jail until arraignment in CAP Court on April 7, 2023.

Anthony F. Armstrong Jr., 34, of Calm Lake Cir., Rochester, NY, is charged with possession of prison contraband after allegedly possessing contraband at the Genesee County Jail on April 7, 2023.
Armstrong was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Batavia City Court on April 25, 2023 at 1:00p.m.

Joshua M. Ruffin, 27, of Burrows St., Rochester, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree on March 16, 2023 on Main Street in Batavia about 10:19p.m.
Ruffin was arraigned in City Court on March 17, 2023 at 9:00a.m. and released.

Rosemary R. Waters, 37, homeless, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing merchandise from a store on Veteran’s Memorial Drive in the town of Batavia on April 7, 2023.
Waters is scheduled to appear in Batavia Town Court on April 25, 2023 at 3:00p.m.
