WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/April 25, 2023

On April 20, 2023, at approximately 8:48PM, deputies from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s
Office responded to a residence in the Town of Eagle for the report of a violation of an order of
protection. A female victim on location reported that Richard A. Davis Jr, 41, of Bliss, NY, had contacted her via telephone and also entered the residence, while a stay-away order of protection was in effect.

The order of protection was issued following an arrest by the Arcade Police Department,
earlier that same day, in which Davis was charged with menacing in the third degree and
criminal mischief in the fourth degree.

A warrant was subsequently issued for Davis, for criminal contempt in the second degree. He was arrested on April 21, 2023, on the outstanding warrant, and brought before the Village of Arcade Court for arraignment.

Davis was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash, $40,000 bond or $60,000
partially secured bond.

On April 17, 2023, at about 6:09PM, the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a larceny from Walmart, at 2348 Route 19 in the Town of Warsaw.

It was reported that a female suspect had fled the scene prior to law enforcement’s arrival, after
being confronted by store associates.

As a result of the investigation, Carey Cartwright, 44, of Perry, NY was arrested on April 23, 2023, and charged with petit larceny. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Warsaw Court at a later date.

Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office 911 received a call of a roadside domestic incident on East Lake
Road in the Town of Castile on April 21, 2023.

Deputies were assisted by the New York State Police and responded to the area and
arrested Logan Bailey, 22, of Castile, NY, charging her with reckless endangerment in the second degree and endangering the welfare of two children.

Bailey was released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to answer the above charges in Castile Court in May 2023.

On 4/16/2023, Wyoming County Sheriff’s received a complaint of a possible violation of a stay
away order of protection.

Throughout the investigation, it was determined that Zachary Emmick, 34, of Arcade, NY, had allegedly violated the order of protection due to communications he had with the protected party.

Emmick was arraigned at the Town of Arcade Court and committed to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $10,000. EMMICK is to appear in Arcade Court in May
