WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Drug Task Force arrests

The Wyoming County Drug Task Force made several arrests on April 25th, 2023, stemming from
drug sales over the past four months in Wyoming County.

Alan T. Hartman Sr.,57, of Lamont Road, Gainesville, NY, is charged with criminal sale
of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in
the 3rd degree, and conspiracy in the 4th degree. Hartman is accused of selling
Methamphetamine in December of 2022. A search warrant was executed at his residence with
drug paraphernalia and small amounts of various narcotics being discovered. The New York
State Police SORT team was instrumental in assisting the task force and sheriff’s deputies with
the arrest. He was committed to the Wyoming County Jail with no bail. Additional charges are likely in the near future.

Shane Vasile, 56, of Rochester Street, Warsaw, NY, is charged with 3 counts of criminal
sale of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree, 3 counts of criminal possession of a controlled
substance in in the 3rd degree, and conspiracy in the 4th degree. Vasile is accused of selling
Methamphetamine on 3 occasions in December of 2022 and January 2023, while in the Village
of Warsaw. Vasile was committed to the Wyoming Couty Jail with no bail.

Sherene Bellaire, 56, of Rochester Street, Warsaw, NY, is charged with criminal sale of a
controlled substance in the 5th degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 5th
degree, and conspiracy in the 4th degree. Bellaire is accused of selling Methamphetamine
on one occasion while in the Village of Warsaw. She was arraigned and was released according
to New York State Bail Reform.

The Wyoming County Drug Task Force is made up of members of the Sheriff’s Office and

Jayden J. Duncan, 18, of Depew, NY, was arrested following a 4:00am traffic stop on April 22nd in the
Town of Covington. Duncan was observed by deputies allegedly speeding (72mph in a marked 55mph
zone) and was stopped for the infraction.

Upon interviewing Duncan roadside, the odor of marijuana was detected coming from the vehicle. Duncan was requested to submit to field sobriety testing in which he performed poorly.
Duncan was transported to the Perry Police Department where he underwent a drug influence
evaluation by a Drug Recognition Expert. Duncan was allegedly impaired by multiple
categories of drugs and unable to operate a vehicle safely.


He is charged with speeding, consumption of cannabis in a motor vehicle, DWAI/drugs,
DWAI/Drug Combo, and underage possession of alcohol.

Duncan was released with appearance tickets and scheduled to answer the charges in Town Court on 05/01/2023.
