On May 5, 2023, Troopers out of SP Boston arrested Mercedes M. Mccoy, 33, of Attica, NY, for Aggravated DWI/Leandra’s Law and endangering the welfare of a child.
Troopers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Clinton Street in the town of Marilla and during the interview, Mccoy was allegedly exhibiting signs of impairment. Mccoy had failed standardized field sobriety tests. She was arrested and transported to SP Elma, where a chemical breath test revealed a 0.18% BAC.
Mccoy was released with appearance tickets for the town of Marilla court, where she is due to appear at a later date.
