Progress on the South Lyon Street Bridge is moving at a good pace as today over 120 cubic yards of concrete were poured for the bridge’s new deck.
Union Concrete, the contractor on-site, will have to “wet-cure” the new concrete with burlap sacks and sprinklers for the next 14 days.
After that is completed, approach slabs can be formed and poured between the roadway and the bridge to keep the project on schedule for completion in June.
