Akeel K. Kaid, 41, of Buffalo, NY, was arrested and charged with one count of NY Cigarette and Tobacco Product tax violation 1814/H2/Possession/transportation of more than 15lbs of tobacco or 750 cigars-tax unpaid, on Rt. 77 in Pembroke on May 10, 2023 at 8:41p.m.
Kaid allegedly purchased 1,580 cigars from the Tonawanda Indian Reservation and was allegedly transporting them to Buffalo.
Kaid was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Town of Pembroke Court on June 1, 2023 at 1:00p.m.

Thomas M. Tacito, 63, of Batavia, NY, is charged with unlawfully possessing noxious material after allegedly being found to be in possession of pepper spray and then attempting to use it against another person on Park Road in Batavia on May 13, 2023 at 9:10p.m.
Tacito was issued an appearance ticket returnable the Town of Batavia Court on May 23, 2023 at 3:00p.m.
Tacito was held for CAP Court for an unrelated matter.

Nathan P. Crawford, 27, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal mischief 4th degree, after allegedly damaging a bicycle that was locked to a bike rack at Batavia Downs on February 12, 2023.
Crawford was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in Batavia City Court on May 23, 2023 at 9:00a.m.

Stacey J. Daprizio, 55, of Alabama, NY, is charged with aggravated DWI and DWI, after allegedly operating a motor vehicle on Rt. 63 in Oakfield with a BAC of .18% or more.
Daprizio was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Oakfield Town Court on June 12, 2023.

Anthony J. Martino Jr., 64 of Batavia, NY, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly exiting a retail store on Veteran’s Memorial Drive without paying for merchandise.
Martino Jr. was processed by the Genesee County Jail staff and released on an appearance ticket.
Martino Jr. will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on June 27. 2023.

Tony R. Graber, 44, of Pembroke, NY, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd degree/disobeying a mandate, following an investigation into a violation of a full stay away order of protection on May 5, 2023.
Graber was transported to the Genesee County Jail where he was processed by jail staff. He was arraigned and released on bail.
