WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/May 23, 2023

On May 20, 2023 at approximately 6:41 A.M., a Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputy was patrolling West
Buffalo Street in the Village of Warsaw. As the deputy was following behind a grey Nissan, they
observed a vehicle cross over the double solid yellow line on West Buffalo Street. The vehicle was
subsequently stopped for failure to keep right.

After a DMV check it was found the driver, Jesiah Martinez, 23, of Palm Bay, Florida, had his driving privileges in New York State suspended with a total of four active suspension on three separate dates.
Martinez was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree and failure to keep right.

Martinez was released on appearance tickets and is to appear in Warsaw Village Court on June 5, 2023.

On May 18th, 2023, at around 11:21pm, deputies were patrolling northbound on Route 19,
in the Town of Gainesville, when a vehicle was observed traveling southbound with a front
headlight out.

A vehicle and traffic enforcement stop was conducted near Dutton Road and the
driver was identified as Garold E. Murray, 41, of Scio, NY. A records check showed Murray
had a revoked non-driver ID only in New York State, as well as an interlock restriction, which
was not installed in the vehicle he was driving. At around 11:28pm, Murray was placed under
arrest and was ultimately charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 2nd
degree, use rented/leased/loaned vehicle without an Interlock, unlicensed operator and no/inadequate headlights.

Murray was processed roadside and released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Gainesville Court at a later date.

Deputies were conducting stationary radar on Route 20A in the Town of Perry on May 20, 2023, when they observed a vehicle traveling westbound at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was confirmed to be
traveling at a speed of 92 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour zone.

Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the same vehicle for the speeding violation, but the vehicle failed to comply with emergency lights and sirens and was traveling at speeds estimated to be over 100 miles per hour on Route 20A.

Deputies disengaged pursuing the vehicle and followed the vehicle from a safe distance as it was traveling towards the Village of Warsaw.

While following the vehicle, deputies observed the vehicle commit several other vehicle and traffic law
violations, such as passing multiple vehicles at a high rate of speed in the Town of Warsaw. The
suspect vehicle was eventually stopped by the Village of Warsaw Police Department on
Route 20A, in the Village of Warsaw.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Khendry A. Molina, age 19, of New York City.
Molina was arrested and charged with reckless driving and subsequently charged with the following:
VTL 1212 Reckless Driving (Unclassified Misdemeanor)
VTL 1102 Failure to Comply with a Lawful Order VTL 1180(d) Speed in Zone (92/55)
VTL 1180(a) Speed Not Reasonable and Prudent
VTL 1123 Improper Passing
VTL 1120(a) Failed to Keep Right
VTL 1163(d) Improper/No Signal
VTL 1227(1) Consumption of Marijuana in a Motor Vehicle
Molina was issued an appearance ticket on all his charges, and is due back in the Town of Warsaw
Court on 06/05/23. Molina was also cited on other numerous charges by the Village of Warsaw and
other vehicle and traffic tickets for the Town of Perry.
