On May 26th, 2023 a member of the Albion Police Department stopped a vehicle for speeding. During the traffic stop it was determined that the vehicle was in fact reported stolen out of Broome County, NY.
Patrols identified the driver and passengers in the vehicle as Patrick (son) and Marcus McMillan (Father). Patrols learned that the vehicle was reported stolen by a rental car company at the end of March, 2023.
As a result of the investigation the following people were arrested:
Patrick McMillan (21 years of age) out of Rochester, NY with:
o NYS VTL 1180d: Speed in zone
o NYS PL 165.45(05) Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th
Patrick was processed and released with an appearance ticket according to NYS Bail Reform Laws
Marcus McMillan (38 years of age) out of Rochester/Binghamton NY, is charged with:
o NYS PL 165.45(05) Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th
o Marcus was also currently wanted by NYS Parole on a Parole Absconder warrant.
Marcus was processed and released with an appearance ticket according to NYS Bail Reform Laws but was transported and held in the Orleans County Jail on the Parole Absconder Warrant.
