24 children ages 11-17, from The Matsiko World Orphan Choir visited Liberty Pumps on Appletree Avenue in Bergen on Wednesday morning, for an educational/performing visit, learning about what Liberty Pumps does and about their products. The children, all from Liberia, later performed for staff after having tours of several areas at Liberty Pumps.

The mission of the group is to use the unifying power of music to uplift every child, bring joy to all who listen, and to inspire generosity that provides a complete education for vulnerable children.

Matsiko’s tour director, Sam Windham says the choir has been traveling throughout the country since September 2022 when they arrived in Seattle from Liberia.

“Our goal is to get as many kids as possible into education,” says Windham

Sponsorships are $40 a month to help the kids get a complete education. The students have visited churches, schools, retirement homes and factories during their tour.
