GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/June 2, 2023/ Reservation man charged with incest and criminal sexual act

Shane K. Logan, 50, of Meadville Rd., Tonawanda Indian Reservation, is charged with criminal sexual act 3rd degree and incest 3rd degree after an investigation by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred on August 30, 2022 on the Tonawanda Indian Reservation.

Logan was arrested on May 31, 2023. He was arraigned in Genesee County CAP Court and held on $5,000 cash bail.

Logan is scheduled to appear in Alabama Town Court on June 20, 2023 at 6:00PM.

Isrrael Obregon Jr., 42, of Tucker Rd., Walnut Cove, North Carolina, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operator 1st degree, DWI, misuse of dealer plates, operation of a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver, operating with an obstructed view and moving from a lane unsafely, after a traffic stop on Rt. 33/Pearl Street Road in the Town of Batavia on May 29, 2023 at 4:22p.m.

Obregon was issued uniform traffic tickets and released. Obregon will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on July 6, 2023 at 1:00PM.

Madison L. McKenzie, 18, of Creek Road, Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd degree and endangering the welfare of child after deputies responded to an address in Pavilion for a violation of a court order. Following the investigation, McKenzie was arrested for an incident that occurred between the dates of May 27, 2023 and May 30, 2023.

McKenzie allegedly messaged a protected party under 15 years old using Snapchat, sending explicit texts and photos.

McKenzie was arraigned in CAP Court by Judge Mattice and will appear in Pavilion Town Court on June 20, 2023 at 1:30PM.

After receiving a a complaint of a larceny from a residence on Towne Place in the Town of Alabama, Richard Demmer Jr., 30, homeless, was charged with petit larceny and falsifying business records, a class E felony.

Demmer Jr. allegedly stole property within the Town of Alabama, then sold the property to a store on Veterans Memorial Drive in the Town of Batavia, where he allegedly falsified a bill of sale on May19-20th, 2023.

Demmer Jr. was arraigned and released on his own recognizance and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on June 13, 2023 and in the Town of Alabama Court on June 20, 2023.

The case was investigated by Deputy Jenna Ferrando and Investigator Erik Andre.
