The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a rash of stolen vehicles in the area of Broadway Road and Sumner Road.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, there was a gray F150 pickup truck stolen earlier this morning on Sumner Road. Scanner reports currently have deputies in the area investigating with the assistance of a drone. The truck has not been located.

“We do have a burglary/larceny investigation on Broadway Road that was reported yesterday afternoon where a tractor was stolen from a barn and it looks like there was some other activity in the area that we believe is likely related,” says Chief Deputy Joseph Graff.

Deputies recovered a stolen truck/trailer yesterday afternoon in the Seven Day/County Line Road area that was originally stolen from Broadway Road yesterday. The tractor that was stolen (picture above) has not been located as of yet.

Residents at the Broadway Road incident shared this photo with neighbors as a person of interest in the incident after this picture was captured on their security system on August 8th after their tractor was stolen from their barn. (Submitted photo)

If anyone has information on the vehicle thefts in the area, they should call the Sheriff’s Department at 585-345-3000 or call 911 if any suspicious activity is spotted.
