WYOMING COUNTY/Ruptured hydraulic line causes spill in Orangeville

Fire crews from Varysburg and Warsaw responded to Rt. 20A and Orangeville Center Road in the Town of Orangeville, for a tractor trailer leaking fluid, on Wednesday September 27th at 1:53p.m.

According to the Wyoming County Office of Emergency Services, a hydraulic line ruptured on the truck, spilling about 25 gallons of hydraulic oil onto the road surface and intersection. The NYS DEC monitored the cleanup.

No injuries were reported. The tractor trailer is owned by WHM Lanf Management Inc.

Fire crews were on scene for about 1.5 hours and were also assisted by Wyoming County Emergency Services, Wyoming County Highway Dept., Town of Orangeville, NYS DOT and NYS DEC.
